La Botteresse Miel

Wallonian honey beer, probably not made anymore now. Milky, not too stable head, colour a brownish bronze, misty. Aroma of caramelly malts, bitter chocolate, banana, coffee grounds, candied cherries, cinnamon, vermouth but not much honey. Soft sweetish onset, dark fruits, dryer in the middle by means of coriander, honey sweetness stays subtle, mild bitterish finish with a light roasted coffee touch. I prefer the paler small-scale honey beers from Wallonia but still, this was rather good.
