No less that 2 litres of blackcurrant puree were poured into the secondary fermentation to produce a purple beer that carries all the bittersweet qualities you would expect. The taste explosion finishes with the unmistakable flavour of East Kent Goldings hops, bringing a smooth and mild aftertaste to counter the bitterness of the initial hit.
