Since its arrival in Bavaria, beers brewed in the Lower Saxony city of Einbeck were highly prized by beer drinkers. With a Bavarian accent “Einbeck bier! ” sounded like ” Eine bock bier! ” Gradually this linguistic difference gave name to a distinctively strong, malty lager beer with a goat (“bock” in German) as its symbol. L’Entêté is inspired by traditional Bavarian dunkel bocks. Its prominent “toasted biscuit” malty notes and slightly caramelized touch give L’Entêté a pleasing mouthfeel that will satisfy the malt aficionado. Continental noble hops balance the flavor without bringing much bitterness. Prost!
