Bierbeschreibung
Top-fermented semi-dark special Theodorus is brewed from four types of malts and two types of hops. The taste and aroma is dominated by the New Zealand hops Rakau. Thanks to one-minute brewing, malt beer has a fuller body. The bitterness is lower with a pleasant finish. You can smell apricot and tropical fruits in the aroma, especially the maracuja.
Teodorich was a Osek Cistercian, by name it is likely that he came from Germany. In 1276, the Osek community elected it as its abbot. He held this position for ten years. He was one of the counselors of King Wenceslas II. and participated in the restoration of the Cistercian monastery in Sedlec near Kutná Hora. In 1287 Teodorich moved to Waldsassen as abbot
