Bierbeschreibung
Aroma- very pleasant Belgian chocolates, with subtle vanilla. Noticeable, quite disturbing alcohol in the background. Not bad, but I expected much more. Black, unclear, with a minimal head, which reduces to a tiny ring. Taste- much better, mega deep dark chocolate and clear cocoa. Vanilla barely noticeable. Still feels like a top class Belgian pralines. Intensive cocoa in the aftertaste. I'm missing more vanilla, which could add another dimension, but on the other hand, the basic beer is very good. After some time, I could feel also nicely balanced, roasted coffee. Medium-high bodied, silky and smooth, with a minimal carbonation. Very solid Stout, unfortunately vanilla doesn't make a proper job. I would like to try a bourbon barrel version, because it would make it more dimensional and could balance the alcohol in the aroma.
