Stone & Wood Brewing - Stone Beer 2023 Vintage Release

Each Autumn, we honour the ancient technique of our brewing ancestors with the ritual of adding wood-fired stones to our kettle to create a bold, but approachable porter. And so it is again for Stone Beer 2023. This year's brew was created using choice Australian and German malts, with aromas and flavours of coffee, rich dark chocolate and hints of subtle smoked barley. Our limited winter release pours near black and finishes with a rich, smooth malt character and firm bitterness. Best shared on a cold night over warm conversation.
