They took the malt profile of a brown porter, and matched it with the hop profile of their APA. They used cascade hops in the boil, and dry-hopped with Nugget and Denali hops for aroma. You will notice a slight hop-spicy aroma in the nose, a dry finish and chocolate nuances in the taste. This version is offered cask-conditioned, lending it a softer, more floral flavor that the draft version.
