The Great Dane Strawberry Tart

A perfect beer for summer. This beer is based on a traditional German Gose, a historic beer style that has recently been revived. It is a light ale with wheat that is soured with lactobacillus bacteria and flavored with coriander and a touch of salt. It is light and tart on the palate, making it quite refreshing. It’s infused with fresh, local strawberries from Carandale Farm, for a light, fruity aroma and flavor. The fruity berry flavors nicely complement the fruity yeast flavors. Then a touch of malt sweetness rounds out the flavor, resulting in a well-balanced ale that isn’t cloying or overly sweet.
