Speciation Artisan Ales - The Laurentian Series: Michigan Cuvée

Blend of 2 and 3 year old spontaneous ale - A blend of 2 oak puncheons, loosely inspired by the classic Cantillon beer Lou Pepe - The first barrel was brewed by Bike Lake Brewing on 4/18/18. It was coolshipped about a mile away from Lake Michigan in my parent’s front yard. The second barrel was brewed by Stormcloud Brewing on 11/12/19. Tasting notes: Bright, citrussy, lemonaid, classic lambic funk.
