Alter

The Alter brewery was founded in 2015 in Itaipava, always producing in its factory. Its factory structure was set up inside the Sítio das Bromélias, where there were former horse stalls, hence the name ALTER, which was inspired by the Alter-Real horse breed, a breed created by the Imperial Portuguese family. The Alter-Real breed played an important role in the formation of the main Brazilian horse breed, the Mangalarga, which even inspired the name of the first beer, "MangaLager". Since then, it has always sought to honor the different breeds of horses with the name of the beers.
