Big Storm

Big Storm is one of the fastest growing independent craft breweries in Florida. Founded in 2012 by Mike Bishop, Big Storm has grown into three separate brewing and taproom facilities: two in the Tampa Bay area and one in Cape Coral. Led by Head Brewer, Joel Moore, Big Storm’s innovative craft beers have received critical acclaim for the past five consecutive years, winning 2016’s Best Florida Beer Championship with their Oktoberfest Marzen Lager. Today, Big Storm is a true pioneer using local ingredients like citrus and wild flower honey, brewing more than 20 different beers each year. Big Storm’s core beers include their popular Wavemaker® Amber Ale, Tropic Pressure Florida Ale®, BroMosa Tangerine IPA, Arcus Southern Pale Ale, Palm Bender Gulf Coast IPA, Key Lime Shandy, Oats in Hose Oatmeal Stout and Bay Beer Light Lager.
