Bishop Nick is a 20bbl craft brewery in Braintree. Owned and managed by Nelion Ridley - 6th generation of the Essex brewing family who had Ridley's on the banks of the River Chelmer in Harford End from 1842 and 2005. Nelion set Bishop Nick up in 2011 and has won notable industry awards for his traditional East Anglian bitters and Limited Edition range. Alex Ratter is chief brewer.
