It all started inconspicuously in the winter of 2013 ... the passion for model making, handicrafts, DIY stories directed attention to the home brewing portal. The first terms from the so-called "brew-kit" saw the light of day. Appetite for more appeared. The brewery began to complete the necessary equipment for brewing beer, to create the first independent recipes. Beers brewed according to recipes have received recognition not only in the family circle, but also in the environment of home brewers, as evidenced by gaining high marks during home beer competitions throughout Poland. The appetite for improving recipes and reaching for bolder styles of beer continued to grow. The brewery gathered and explored all available Polish literature on beer, participated in sensory courses. In 3 years the company has brewed over 60 different styles of beer from the popular pilsner to smoked stout. After 3 years of brewing at home, adapting home appliances to the requirements of bottom and top fermentation beers, the idea was born to brew beer on a larger scale. Searching for a building that met the requirements to start production took several months. Finally, in December 2015, we found the perfect place in Zgoda, 20 kilometers from Toruń. The formalities machine has started: adapting the building to industry requirements, formalities, permits. Adaptation of the building for food production, renovation, part of the brewing installation is the work of the brewer himself. The name of the brewery saw the light of day: simply De Facto Brewery, because the company brews beer with passion, from the best raw materials and without compromise.
