Beschreibung
La Patrona's beer origins date back to the early 1900s. Philippe Suberbie Ramofaur, from France, landed in Mexico and settled in Orizaba, where he became a key player in the construction of one of the largest beer groups in the country. Together with his son, Emilio Suberbie Fernández, they jointly directed Cervecería Moctezuma for more than forty years, this legacy permeated the following generations in different ways, preventing them from departing from the world of beer. Currently, Rodrigo Escudero Suberbie, the fifth generation of this family of brewers, has separated from the large monopoly groups and has sought his own path in the field of independent beer. In 2012, he established La Patrona in the San Miguel Chapultepec neighborhood of Mexico City, at the height of the independent beer movement. The company has always had a deep respect for its beer roots, using the most advanced techniques and selecting quality ingredients to make beers of exceptional flavor.
