Walfänger Brewery is a family business. The story began over 200 years ago, with the Balieiro family's passion for beer. This passion, transmitted from generation to generation, was becoming a reality in 2011, when its founders began prospecting the business and studying products and market, as well as visits to bars, pubs, events and fairs in the brewing sector, in Brazil and the world. On a visit to Germany, the family was enchanted with German beer. That was where the styles of beers produced by Walfänger were born , which means “whaler” in German.
