Hop Haus Brewing

Hop Haus Brewing Company is located in Verona Wisconsin, although we trace our roots to a backyard in sunny Denver Colorado. That is were the first beers were crafted, and the crazy idea of opening a brewpub took shape. After moving the family back to Wisconsin, they started brewing test recipes in our basement , and began the search for a suitable building for our humble brewpub. While on a run (with one child in the running stroller) they found a great location on Main Street directly off the bike path. After months of meetings and loads of paperwork they started demolition of the space that was formerly a sandwich shop/pizzeria/ice cream parlor. The same day demolition started they headed to the hospital to have their second child (yes, it was a busy year). On June 25, 2015 we opened our doors for the first time. The paint was barely dry and they had only 4 beerson tap but it was a day we will never forget. They quickly ran out of fermenter space, and ordered 2 more vessels to increase beer production. With lots of support from the thirsty local community they still could not keep up with demand so they started looking at expansion plans. In January of 2017 they packaged our first 6packs at our partner brewery. Brewing larger batches at Octopi Brewing Company allowed us to keep the draft lines full at Hop Haus while also entering into the very competitive distribution market. Hop Haus beer can now be found in fine stores throughout south-central Wisconsin. They have come a long way since opening, and this includes our food menu as well. They initially only offered popcorn and pizzas, but have since expanded our offerings to include cheese boards, huge soft pretzels, and lots of delicious items from our fryer. The tap beer lineup has something for everyone. You can always find our year round beers on tap, but they also offer a variety of unique beers on a seasonal/rotating basis. Owned and operated by the husband & wife team (Phil & Sara Hoechst) they are very thankful and proud of Hop Haus Brewing Company.
