Jailhouse Brewing opened its gates in late 2009 as the fourth production brewery in Georgia. Housed in the old city jail of Hampton, all production takes place in approximately 1500 square feet. Our brewery can produce 2500 barrels per year at max capacity, however we like to think that our sweet spot is around 1300 barrels. We have set our production goals based around the idea of bringing you the freshest beer around. We've remained independently owned and operated with a business and brewing philosophy that bigger isn't necessarily better. We were always inspired by those who served their local communities with beer that was a reflection of their individuality and invited the neighborhood to be a part. Bootstrapped from day one and still operating in that vein, Jailhouse is a neighborhood brewery embraced by it's community.
