The mini-brewery was founded in 2013 and continues the rich history of the Domov guest house, which the owners wanted to combine with the tradition of brewing Louny beer. The historic building of the pension has undergone extensive reconstruction and modification for the needs of the location of the mini-brewery technology, especially the lager cellars in the basement. The production of the brewery serves exclusively for the needs of the restaurant "Family mini-brewery Domov", where the offer of domestic beers is supplemented by the offer of traditional Czech cuisine. Lounský žejdlík beer is brewed in a 200-liter copper brewery, which is part of the restaurant's interior, so guests can look at the actual process of brewing beer. In the basement are located stainless steel cellars or. fermentation vat and in the built-in cooling box then several 1000l stainless steel tanks, from which beer is directly tapped to the guests of the mini-brewery.
