The microbrewery Kosíř is located at the highest peak of the Haná region of Kosíř (442 meters above sea level) and is approximately 17 km from Olomouc. The four basic raw materials for the production of beer in the Kosíř Microbrewery are malt made from Haná barley, mashed water, Czech granulated hops and brewer's yeast. Beer from the microbrewery Kosíř is unfiltered, unpasteurized and produced by classical technology. Fermentation takes place in open fermenters using the bottom yeast for about a week. The subsequent lagering of beer takes place in a lager cellar at 2 ° C for at least 27 days for 12 ° beer, for at least 38 days for 12 ° beer and for 65 days for 13 ° beer.
