Beschreibung
After years of dilapidation - in 1996 the brewery was closed as part of the declining management of the state-owned enterprise - in June 2002 the premises of the brewery and the malt house in Dobruška were purchased by a private, purely Czech, company. The intention was to completely repair this area in two phases and to continue to operate it in the long-term through the company Staročeský pivovárek, s.r.o. Dobruška. From one part of the area is used for the original purpose, ie. to produce malt and brew beer. In addition to the malt house, the original copper brewhouse and a part of the lager cellar were put into operation. The Brewery Court is an ideal place for organizing various cultural events. The restored original craft production - malt and partly also beer - is open to visitors in the form of an educational excursion. The second separate part of the complex is to use the back of the larger part of the cellar in Novoměstská Street (in the part of Dobruška called "Belvedér") as a brewery restaurant. Above ground building no. 227, in Novoměstská street in Belvedere is conceived as a cultural and entertainment place, including a bowling alley with a separate bar, projection of sports programs, information center for tourists, internet, etc. The building can also offer lounges for seminars, training and show. Accommodation has been prepared since summer 2006.
