In 2016, Ivo Pavliš and his then-fiancée Jana Mořkovská founded the company. The name of the brewery was supposed to speak about the strong atmosphere of the place, it could be a little magical, a little funny and correspond with the brewery's philosophy that beer is not tasted in sips but in liters. Thus came the name GENIUS NIGHTS. Since then, both have done their best to keep the brewery running again.
