The cornerstone of the brewery was laid in 2001. The family mini-brewery was built with reference to the tradition of brewing good beer here in Wallachia. Whether it was beer brewed at home or since 1663 in the local brewery in Vsetín on 4th May Street, which, as witnesses remember, produced very good beer. This brewery was closed like many other similar breweries for economic reasons. where the strong competitive environment of large breweries played a large role. Valášek new mini-brewery Valášek was not designed to compete with these giants in terms of production volume, but with the excellent quality of its beer! In the places where their mini-brewery now stands, as witnesses remember, the hospitality industry has stood since 1920. Hospitality was popular among the inhabitants of Vsetín, yet in 1982 this whole hospitality building was closed by the then ruling establishment and demolished after decay. The land was not maintained by anyone for a long time and was overgrown with grass. The name "Valášek" was then chosen in a civic survey, when it was chosen among many other proposals as the best and most concise name. The creator of this design was then duly rewarded with a keg of beer. The operation of the brewery was ceremoniously started before Christmas in 2002, the opening was also connected with the ceremonial tasting of the first beer.
