The Toitū Brewing Company is a micro-brewery that believes passionately in Craft Beer. Breweries of their size are often called Artisan Breweries. This is a description that fits well with them. They are out on the Otago Peninsula a few minutes away from the Royal Albatross Centre, where you can view nesting Albatross and Little Blue Penguins, and close to the Ōtākou marae. You will shortly be able to buy their craft beer online and locally in the Portobello township. Toitū means to be undisturbed, untouched, permanent, entire, to be sustainable.
