Beschreibung
Vreta kloster nano brewery was created in the autumn of 2019. The brewery is located 100 metres from Göta Kanal, and only 2 km from the ruins of the oldest convent in Sweden - Vreta kloster - which was active from the the early 12th Century until 1580. In the ruins, archeologists have found remains of what is thought to be the old brewery, where the nuns made beer for their own consumption. With a love for Belgian styled (abbey) beers, and respect for the local history, the brewery will mainly experiment in developing local versions of Belgian styled beers.
