Brewer's Advent Day #10: Käuzle Pils

Kauzen owner Karl-Heinz Pritzl looks with pride at the more than 210-year history of his brewery. First mentioned in 1809, it has been in the hands of the family since 1849. Much has changed over the years, but the passion for the craft of brewing in general and the love for the regional art of brewing in Lower Franconia have remained. You can see it in the product range of the Ochsenfurt brewery. Helles, pilsners, wheat beers, bock beers ... brewed according to the rules of the Bavarian Purity Law. Constant investment has made Kauzen Bräu what it is today: a highly modern, medium-sized and independent brewery. And: The succession in the family business is assured. Son Jacob is already at his father's side. He is a brewmaster with heart and soul and a business economist with an excellent university certificate.

Käuzle Pilsener: Brewed from local raw materials. The barley grows directly in the fields behind the brewery. The hops come from the Bavarian growing regions of Spalt and Hallertau. The brewing water from the brewery's own deep well and the yeast from its own pure breeding.

Light gold, dense and white foam. Floral citrus notes make you want to take the first sip. Lean, tangy, clear, pure, dry. With a concise bitterness, typical for German-Style Pilsner. Great beer!
