The second special of the year 2019 is Hostivar 12 Žitná. It is a bottom-fermented beer of light to copper color with the addition of rye malt, brewed by the classic mashing method for two mashes, the main fermentation kept in a fermenting vat and 30 days maturing in a lager tank. Pivovar Hostivar added two Czech hops to the beer, which give the beer a gentle bitterness. Lower zest, fuller body and longer aftertaste of bitterness in taste.
