Pivovar Doubravník cook unpasteurized and unfiltered lager according to the medieval beer purity law (Reinheitsgebot) by the classical method: brewhouse, open fermenter and lager cellar by decoction. Pivovar Doubravník use only one type of Moravian malt of the Pilsen type and hop five times with Saaz semi-early blueberry.
