Landgang is one of the young breweries in Hamburg's very lively and constantly growing beer scene. Lars had a craft beer store and wanted to have his own beer, Sasche had just completed his brewer' s apprenticeship. The two made common cause and had huge success. After just two years of gipsy brewing, they were able to invest in their own brewery.
Breweries in northern Germany are judged by the quality of their pilsner. If the Pilsner is good, the brewery is good, and you can assume that all the other beers are great, too.
