Already last Monday the government of Mexico declared a health emergency and ordered that all non-essential activities must be stopped by April 30. Non-relevant industrial plants, including breweries, are among them. Grupo Modelo has reacted by shutting the production of Corona.
There are no binding exit restrictions in Mexico yet. Airports, shops and restaurants are still open. However, gatherings of more than 50 people are prohibited and the beaches are closed.
