The fresh country beer enjoyment, thanks to brewing and family tradition!
The beers from the brewery ERL are brewed after a markedly slow maturing process with consistent care and refinement of family recipes, in small batches. This maturity process is as rare as it is worth seeing in the age of process automation and mass production. Fermentation always takes place hand-guided in open fermenting vats, as is actually the case with wheat beers. In the brewery cellar, the ERL beers ripen underground after fermentation in horizontal storage tanks.
Volksfest
The brewery has been represented since 1977 at the second largest folk festival in Bavaria, the Gäubodenvolksfest in Straubing. The BeerTasting Club can recommend you an excursion to this folk festival: https://www.volksfest-straubing.de/wenisch.html The Gäubodenvolksfest is not so popular in the world like the Oktoberfest in Munich. But real Bavarians say, this is the original, where real german tradition is celebrated.
Excellent beers
The fact that the Erlbrauerei brews real and good beers has been known throughout Germany since 2016. With two gold awards at the European Beer Star, the brewery has been the most successful Bavarian brewery. Also in 2018 a medal could be brought home with the beer out of the calendar and the Emperor - a bock beer.
On the BeerTasting Event in Salzburg, we have invited the brewmaster from Erl. Check out the video and enjoy the beer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXDbccPKq5o&t=118s
