Darf Brewery

The Darf brewery was born when two young people meet and discover they have two passions in common: good beer and the territory where they live. Alberto and Simone take courage by deciding to pursue their dream; this is how, at the foot of Monticolo, immersed in the typical green of the Camonica Valley, the Darf Brewery was born. The location area, located in the municipality of Darfo Boario Terme, is not only a splendid setting for the brewery and its production, but it is also a place rich in resources. There are numerous waterways and fresh springs that populate it, the heart of the city lies in fact in the Terme di Boario, famous for the purity and properties of its waters. The ideal place to give life to products characterized by purity and genuineness. The brewery takes its name from the municipality in which it resides: Darfo. The hypotheses regarding the etymology of this term are different, among these there is also the belief that it derives from a distortion of the German word Dorf, which means village. The choice of the name wants to underline the strong bond existing between the territory and the production, it is indeed this magnificent place to provide the fundamental element for the realization of the beer: water. Darf is produced using only the fresh, pure water that flows from the springs adjacent to the brewery. A good beer can only come from good water, since it is precisely from this that it draws its greatest qualities. In this context there is also another need, that of bringing customers beyond the simple recreational consumption typically referred to as "beer and chips". One of the main objectives of the brewery is to make users aware of the numerous beneficial properties of beer, such as kidney cleansing, the reintegration of mineral salts, hair shine and skin softness.
