Description
Lajka is a young town brewery of the early 21st century. Each of their beers pays tribute to one of the animals that has served a special blend of science and propaganda, emancipation, and the clanking of weapons known as "space races." Pivovar Lajka are naturally anchored in the Czech brewing environment, but they are inspired by the variety of traditions and current trends of near and far corners of the world. This is reflected in the variety of beers they produce. They are always in a natural state - Pivovar Lajka do not filter or pasteurize, Pivovar Lajka ripen maturation into the hands of the most competent: yeast, cold and time. For every beer Pivovar Lajka strive for a clear and tuned personality - do not look for a lackluster supermarket beers or unbalanced beer-marketing shouts. Naturally, you will find the most varied selection of their beer right next to the brewery in their café at Letná in Prague, but Pivovar Lajka also offer beer for sale. Pivovar Lajka pay special attention to the selection of agricultural raw materials from which Pivovar Lajka produce beer - especially hops and malt. The vast majority of the malt Pivovar Lajkause is made from organic cereals (mainly barley). Nowadays, hops are not yet sufficiently available in bio-quality and so far Pivovar Lajka have the majority of hop hops. Although their selection includes strongly aromatic beers, which are commonly used in the production of American, Australian and New Zealand hops, Pivovar Lajka hold on to European hops - there is plenty of interesting hops on their continent and it is not necessary to import it over half the globe. Pivovar Lajka hope that their beers will convince you.
